Second Officer Programme

flydubai is offering aspiring CPL holders a path to join our second officer programme and an opportunity to obtain a B737NG/MAX type rating with no upfront type rating cost at our state of art sim facility in Dubai.

flydubai operates a young and efficient fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft serving an expanding network of more than 130 destinations. With more than 125 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft and 30 Boeing 787s on order, this is a unique opportunity for aspiring pilots to receive world-class training, develop vital flying skills and launch a rewarding aviation career.

Minimum Requirements

• GCAA OR ICAO CPL with GCAA frozen ATPL

• Valid 1st Class Medical certificate

• ELP level 4 or above

• Multi-crew cooperation (MCC)

• Advanced UPRT certificate

• Education - Minimum High School Diploma (or equivalent)

• Age External candidate: Minimum 20 years / Max 35 years

• Age Internal candidate: Minimum 20 years / Max 40 years (All Internal candidates need to have 2-year continuous employment with flydubai)

Selection Process

• Phase 0 – Type Rating phase – Nil remuneration (3 months approx)

• Phase 1 – Process Assessment Phase, AED 14,300 p.m.

• Phase 2 – Completion of 1^st Phase Check upto 1500 hours, AED 23,015 p.m.

• Bond USD 36,000 for 24 months

• Upon completion of 1500 hours transition to a First Officer.

• Bond amount shall reduce by way of salary deduction each month over the active duty until it is repaid in full upon transition to a First Officer.
